Integrations: Number Configuration

Number configuration has to be configured in AVANSER Customer Portal.

Each tracking number can be configured for various integrations including Universal Analytics, Google Analytics 4, Microsoft Ads.

In order to access the Integrations, click on the cog wheel on the left sidebar and open the "Integrations" menu.
Then click on "Number Configuration" to access an overview of the numbers configured in your system and the integrations enabled for it.

You can select the numbers by clicking on their checkbox and perform bulk operations from this view.
Each Integration screen is rich with information that explains the requirements and where to find them.
You can also configure multiple integrations of the same type.
There is no limits on the integrations you can configure for each number. Configure as many integrations as you need.  You can configure AdWords, Google Analytics and Salesforce at the same time.
Each number can be associated with only one Integration Account per type.
For example: You can configure two Integration Accounts for Google Analytics 4 but you can only use one integration at the time.
Only two steps are required to configure an integration:
  1. Create an Integration Account configuration for the desired 3rd Party service.
  2. Associate your numbers to the Integration Account.
The following steps will be the same for all integrations, and we will use a Google Analytics 4 integration as an example.

Step 1: Creating an Integration Account

Navigate to the Integration menu and select "Google Analytics 4" tab.

You will be prompted to create a new account if you don’t already have an account.

With Google Analytics 4, the Event Name specifies the name of the event that will be received for each event sent.

The “help” section at the top and the contextual tips will help you with the integration.

Follow the steps described for each parameter required and click the ”SAVE” button.
You have created a new Integration Account.

Once you configure an integration account, you can edit, pause it or delete it. By doing so, all associated numbers will be updated as well.

A note about Google Analytics 4

The following are parameters available to Google Analytics 4 integration.
Other integrations will have different data sets that depend on the type of data we are allowed to send with each event.
For example in Universal Analytics and Google Analytics 4, sending the caller number of each call would violate their security and privacy policies.

2. Click on the desired integration button

All integrations are designed to offer a familiar interface and they all provide the same functionalities.

3. Click on the "Configure" menu option

Select the Account you want to use for the integration.   We have chosen the account "default" in our example.

If none of the accounts listed is the one you need, you can create a new account by selecting "Create New Account" in the Account drop down.

Click the "Update and Continue" button to save the changes to the services.  The integration is now configured.

You can make some test calls or wait for calls to land on your numbers. Call events will be sent to the reporting platform automatically.

    1. Verify the Account is ACTIVE.
