This article explains how to setup Goal Conversions in your Microsoft Ads account This is a required step to enable the Dynamic Numbers to Microsoft Ads integration. Read more about our
Microsoft Ads Integration in the dedicated Knowledge Base Article.
Firstly you'll have to login into your Microsoft Ads Account. You can do so by accessing
Microsoft Ads Portal.
After you have logged into your Microsoft Ads Account, click on "Tools" in the right top bar, and click on "Conversion goals".
The Conversion Goals page will open, click on "+ Create" button.
Configure the new Conversion properties, in the first screen select "Offline" as the kind of conversion you want to report, then click Next.
Set "Contact" as Goal Category, select "Offline conversions" as Goal Type, then click Next.
When asked to configure the Goal settings, configure the Name as the Conversion Name setup in the AVANSER Customer Portal interface. If you are following our configuration guides you should set "AVANSER Call" as Name and "Don't assign a value" as Revenue. Once done click on Save and next.
You'll be redirected to a confirmation page, your configuration is ready to receive events.
Please Note:
It could take up to 2 hours for a new Conversion Goal to be usable via the API, that's a limitation within Microsoft's systems.
Events will be populated as calls generated by the ads are received and handled by AVANSER.
